Puebla, Mexico: A Work Trip That Wasn't Really Work

Josh (the husband) and I jetted off to Puebla, Mexico for the weekend.  His company is in the middle of constructing some Hacienda-Style Beach Condos and Villas.  They are going to be sold turn-key, so we are at the point of needing to order the furniture.

As you know, shopping in Cancun when you are looking for Mexican Style Furniture can be frustrating.  However, Puebla is a short flight away and will definitely not disappoint!

While we were there for 72 hours of shop-till-you-drop furniture extravaganza (while both of us had a terrible head cold), Puebla is an incredible city that is a World Heritage Site for its amazing historical architecture.  Many of the authentic, certified Talavera houses are located in Puebla, and you can go directly to see the artisans making their incredible pieces!

I could go on and on, but the moral of the story is that if you haven't gone -- then you're missing out.  Go!! Go!! Go!!

Josh and I hooked up with our old friend, Rene Nieto of Rene Nieto Antiques.  He's has amazing finds and if you are looking for furniture -- he's your guy!
