Came across this new blog, "Feed Me Tortillas". She has listed her "Notes to Self in Mexico".
She's inspired me to create my list:
- Look at the beach every day!
Between work, kids, and life -- I realized awhile ago that it had been days since I spent any time enjoying the beauty that is right in front of me. I take time every day, even if it's a short moment, to take in the beach. - Keep it simple, silly.
Things here just don't work if they are complicated -- on all sorts of levels. Keeping it simple saves my sanity. - I realize that I shall never leave Telcel, Telmex, or Cablemas in under an hour.
I get it now. It just ain't going to happen. So I take a good magazine. - Tacos are my Friend!
How many ways can you make them?? It's literally endless -- and FAST! - I shall relish my housekeeper!
When I first moved here, I wasn't used to having any help in the house. Then, I fell in line with the norm here and hired a housekeeper once per week. Then, I had her come twice per week. I kept bumping up the number of days, until now -- she's here 6 days a week. I am dependent. I admit it. And I LOVE my clean house. ;)
