PoMo Hurricanes & Travelogs

As you might have noticed, you haven't heard from me in awhile. It is because the fam and I are away on our annual summer vacation.  But, I wanted to share some quick updates from PoMo:

Hurricane Ernesto:

Keep an eye on Hurricane Ernesto. It's rolling our way, but is expected to be a Category 1.

Hurricane Florence:
There is a storm developing behind Ernesto called Florence. We'll be watch on her as well as her path develops.

You can track both of the storms on the National Hurricane Center website.

As most of you know, there is little that I enjoy more than traveling in Mexico.  Living so close to the Cancun airport, makes Puerto Morelos a great hub to venture out for quick trips to see other parts of this amazing country! 

Seasoned Puerto Morelians:  If you haven't yet used Puerto Morelos as a travel hub -- I couldn't recommend it more!!

Puerto Morelos: Little of This, Little of That

• A recent article about Quintana Roo and its new evolution as a destination has lots of interesting info.

• The Tres Rios Resort will be hosting a course on Permaculture, if that topic peaks your fancy.  Rates are very reasonable.  I am considering going -- not sure why, but the topic has got me interested. Are you?
