The newly-formed municipality of Puerto Morelos is sporting a new logo.Our leaning lighthouse is prominently displayed, along with a zapote tree, the tree that produces the sappy gum from which Puerto Morelos earned its spot on the map as an exporter of this raw material for chewing gum.
According to The Riviera Maya News, this logo was designed by David Espinosa Alvarez and was the winning entry from 32 submitted.
