The poor PoMo Town Square Christmas Tree took such a beating in the latest round of torrential rain, that they took it down this week.
Interestingly, Puerto's enthusiasm for the holidays mirrors my own this year. My Christmas decorations are in storage. I got back too late to make them worth getting out. I haven't found the time or desire to bake like I usually do. Josh is enroute, but won't arrive until late Christmas Eve...and he's forgotten to pack Easton's Santa gifts. So, it looks like we are going to have a very low key Christmas this year too. ;)
At this point, here is what I can gather is happening. If you know of any other events or if your restaurant is having any special events, please let me know. I'll keep adding updates to this post as they come in.

Christmas Caroling
Hear the Jolly Christmas Carolers singing your favorite carols in the Puerto Morelos square at 6pm on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday nights and onTuesday (Christmas Eve) at 4:30! We will also be at the Unico Beach Bar at 4pm on Saturday, and in front of the Catholic Church in the Colonia on Sunday evening at 7:30pm.
